Assignment 2-1: What is Immersive Education?

I just finished Professor Walsh's youtube video on iED. Here are some cool parts!

In this part of the video, students at a school with a poverty rate over 90% (and could not afford field trips) were taken on a virtual field trip to an aquarium, I thought this was great.

This next part shows a student explaining what she learned about an animal through a virtual world, as we can see this animal is shown on the screen behind her! This was also great, because students can learn about animals they would have to pay to visit a zoo to see, as well as getting very "up close" to potentially dangerous animals (some more so than a possum).

This last part I took a screenshot of was an overview of the different groups that are made up in iED, and is depicted from the slide on the screen!
